issues with linked table

Hi All:
I had created a linked table. I have deleted the table to which the original table was linked. I was wondering as to whether there is a way to retrieve the data . The error message that pops up says that the table does not exist. Inputs are greatly appreciated.

The usual way to retrieve data is to play with the last good backup.
