Issue with formula using Word Mailmerge

Greetings,
I am using Word and mailmerge to create documents for picking of items in a warehouse environment. My template is working fine with the exception of my last column in which I am using a formula. The problem is that the last result returned in this column repeats down the column, even though the corresponding columns in the same rows are blank. Here's what my formula looks like:
{=qty/convertedQty}
qty and convertedQty are 2 other columns in each row.

Does this make sense?

qty and convertedQty are Bookmarks, not column names and they always refer to the same two fields.

Thanks for the info. I'm using 'next if', and I'm getting the desired results for each row, until the row is blank - then it's repeating this last column that contains my formula. Sorry if I'm sounding like an idiot, but how do I use the 'bookmarks' to get around this problem?
