Has anyone ran into issues loading the 5.5 software onto a CPPM Signaling Server using a CF Card?

*I'm using the blank 128MB card that came with the system.
*Loaded the software using the MKBOOT process.
*Dragged the rest of the files over after the MKBOOT processed created the nvram and boot files.
*When I load the card into the system and press F to boot from face plate I get an error stating can't find OS.

*I have re-downloaded the software.
*Tried diffrent cards.
*Tried diffrent PC's.

Any suggestions would be great?

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Make sure you get the 'All Files are Contiguous' message from the MKBOOT script.

If that doesn't work, try a different flash card.

Can also try formating the CF in PDT of the Call Server or a working Sig Server CPPM using the formatCF2 command. Then MKBOOT and as allenmac said Make sure you get the 'All Files are Contiguous' message.

Thanks for you help! It was the CF cards that I was using.

FYI once I was able to get a CF that worked I was able upgrade the BIOS and the cards that didn't work started working.
