I am trying to create distribution lists on Cisco 2500 series routers for CLNS prefixes(L2). I am running IS-IS and want to advertise only certain NSAP area ID's to certain routers. After looking on Cisco's web site I have found documents which state that you can create a named access list for ISO CLNS but I have not been able to do this with any IOS I have used. After further reading I discovered that CLNS access lists can be created by using template-aliases, filter-sets and filter-expressions, however, when I come to create the distribution list under the "router isis" config. prompt it asks for the access-list name and at this point I substitute the filter-set name, the command is accepted but unfortunately doesn't actually work!!!(I have also tried substituting the filter-expression name but this does not work either) What am I doing wrong??? Could any kind expert out there please advise on how to achieve the desired aim???!!!
