Make sure the card is seated correctly, I had one that was only 1mm raised and that was enough to cause a similiar issue. There is nothing else programming wise to do, well assuming France is the same as UK but it should be.

I know some SPs set it up as "energy saving" or something like that the Point-Multipoint BRAs.
Every 30 secs in case of no trafic the L2 is automatically disconnected by the network.
You could try to check it with the SP, may be they can set it up in a different manner

so french isdn is as bad as irish. amber light flicking is standard here too, don't loose sleep over it. the only thing with our network is that all isdn is installed as P2MP unteil we get it changed.

L2 dropping off can also be a symptom of p2mp, as well as no signalling received.

Set the TEI to 127 and try it then or better still, get your best french accent on Chumpy and give the telco a call!

PHDI means Physical line down

F3F7 needs to be read backwords so F7 first

F7 means Activated
F3 means Deactivated

So first it's activated but then down

Peb 13 is the first port on card 4 (port9)
Peb 14 is the second one on that card

Seems like you have sync on both turned on ?

It can't be any harder than dealing with Kingston... And we speak the same language (notionally)

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

LSB did they at least put a box up for you? we did an isdn 30 in france and when we got to site we found a cable hanging on the wall.....

No but the ISDN box has been put in another room and the junction box is more like a can of worms with twisted bare ends and no protection.

Oh any my data service has been presented in G703 rather than x21 and they cannot get a converter to me until an hour before my flight home so I am a little bit stressed currently.
