Have a option 81 running 25.40, of which we cant buy any new bits or licences for, but need to expand something using what we have already.

At present, we have an IVR connected to this PBX using an E1 Lineside card and CAS. Calls came into the PBX, then onto the IVR, and if needed, we can drop out to agents.this has 30 channels/ports

This works well, and we dont tie up 2 channels on the E1 lineside with the inbound call and then and potential dropout/transfer call.

We have a load of spare PRI cards in the switch, and were looking at attaching some more IVR channels to these, but am unsure if we configure in the same way, with it using ISDN, we would use 2 channels and trombone a call if the call hit the IVr and needed to drop out to an agent.

Can the PBX support ISDN transfer so we dont trombone?
