Due to the cost issue, I only use the TN464 packs for spans in an NFAS group that have a D channel, usually two (one primary and one backup D Channel). I use TN767 packs for other spans in the group that don't have a D channel. My equipment vendor has recently told me that in certain instances that it is possible to use a TN767 on a PRI span with a D channel, I have not done this yet. Hope this helps.
