ISDN Backup

I am trying to configure isdn backup for a 1mb serial line but having trouble. I have set up the ethernet port with a ip and also have given the serial interface a ip address each end. Does anybody have a couple of configs which shows me how to do this. I am also also static routes and not a dynamic routing protocol.
