We are currently having an issue with our isa 2006 server. Basically where having an issue at the moment where clients on the VPN (PPTP) are not able to access SSL websites. If I do a monitor on ISA for the VPN Clients IP I can see an initiated connection, Result code 0x0 ERROR_SUCCESS, then we get Closed Connection Result code 0xc0040038 DWX_E_TCP_NO_SERVER_REPLY.
Running a packet sniffer on the VPN client shows the SYN packets leaving but no SYN,ACKS coming back. Running a packet sniffer on ISA show SYN,ACK replies but they never reach the VPN client.
I’ve put an allow all rule from any network to any network on all outbound traffic at the top of our rule list but this has not worked.
Also did a test with winsock. it gave the error:
Winsock Error: 10060
* Description: The attempt to connect timed out
* Scode: 0x800A274C
Any help would be greatly appreciated
