I setup a GPO to Automatically configure browser to use our ISA Proxy [user configs\Windows Settings\IE Maintenance\Connection]
I also have a GPO to allow only specified windows applications (like iexplorer.exe, FwcAgent.exe, FwcMgmt) to run for the users.

When I delete the GPO to allow only specific applications to run, the Proxy settings work fine (allows only certain sites and blocking everything else). However, when I apply the GPO to allow only specific application to run, my proxy settings GPO does not work.

I know it has to do with me not having ....exe associated with isa in the "Allow only certain programs to run" GPO. But I cannot find the name of the executable that i need to add to my Allow list. Do you know what the executable name might be?

Do you have all PCs with FW Client installed? Then it's better to use this client to automatically configure IE Proxy settings through WPAD file rather than to use GPO.
Look here for more info on trobleshooting ISA client:
