Hi,

I was wondering is Visual Basic code the language people use to make viruses? This question has risen because when I send a visual basic *.exe via email it usually gets booted back stating something about a virus.

If VB isn't the common language what is?

Cheers
Tosh

You're getting the boot 'cuz of the .exe extension - NOT because the app is written in VB. If you need to send your .exe via email, zip it up with winzip/winrar etc. Another alternative is to simply remove the .exe extension - You will have to notify the recipient to add the extension back though.

In answer to your question, I don't know - but I would imagine it's a mixture of 'em all.

Thanks for your reply Tooled.

and be aware some providers now block zip files and don't fall for the exe's without extension.
