I have a Win2K DNS server called:

SERVERNAME.DOMAIN.SERVERNAME

Not sure how or why it did this, but i'm going with it for now.

When I update my forwared and reverse lookup zones with
internal web servers :

SERVER1 192.168.1.x
SERVER2 192.168.3.x
SERVER3 192.168.1.xx

I can't go to my browser and go to I have to type
Do I have to set up a virtual web server like the other person on this page? and if so how will this work with non-web servers.

Thanks again

It sounds like the domain that server is in is "domain.servername". Try to remove it from the domain and re-add it. Also, if you do an NSLOOKUP, what does it return on just the hostname? What about the FQDN?
