Hi friends!
We have a domain say "test.com".I configured an Exchange server for my local users so that they can get mails from each other locally ( I put the same name as that of our registered domain , say "test.com").But problem arise when they send mails to the user who is in remote location( i mean not local) then exchange does not deliver mail or route mail for that user to our original domain ( same "test.com") .I dont know how to make exchange know that the particular user is not local so route its mail ..?
pls help guys i need this urgently.
thanx

The user that is not reciving the emails are they using the same exchange server than that user that it sending the email to him? If not are you tryingto send mail to that user that belongs to a different exchange server? If so is that exchange server in the same organization/site as your exchange server?

Well Magnush actully our original domain is hosted on sendmail and iam using exchange for internal mails with the same domain name as that of the server on sendmail.SO whenever a loacal user who is located in my office send mail to anbother user in same location it goes through my exchange server and not on the actual server on the sendmail. But if if some user who are distantly located , say in remote area i want to route there mails to the actual server on sendmail .I donw know how to tell exchange to route that mail to the sendmail server because it treats the user to be local..
hope u understand this..
thanx again..
