I can see traffic on the emulation using "monitor traffic trunk-groups" but this only shows me capacity data.

I found "Monitor Health". Is this live data?

Try this command monitor traffic trunk-groups. It will give a good snap shot of all trunks. One downside it is slow to update.

Just a thought

You can set up ASA to check for outages every x minutes and send you an email if there are outages. It's under Fault & Performance > Monitor Trunks.

Not a bug, monitor health drops your "tui" when cancelled.
This is working as designed.

OK I must ask why would you have to log out and log back in after this command. No other command does this.

You don't have to logout. The system will log you off.
Working as designed. I did not design it, but I do know how it works.
