Just reconnected router/modem to run ipconfig/all, and I'll be damned, but all WIM XP and WIN2000 notebook work. I see from previous posts that this is not unusual behaviour, and that I may need to put some sort of switch between router and modem. Foolio 12 posted some links, guess it's time to start researching this.
