Is there a DW addon that acts like Sharepoint in FP?

I don't think there is. But my org is looking for a project management software that's web based. Sharepoint Services for FrontPage looks about like what we're wanting, but we don't want to have to enable frontpage extensions on our web server. Has anyone heard of a package that acts the same in DreamWeaver or another external prog. that wouldn't require the FP extensions?

What exactly does Sharepoint do? DW has management features built in. Homesite may even be more adaptable for what you are looking for, though the learning curve on it is more severe. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Sharepoint allows you to share docs with other people who have access to that project. To leave notes in a msg forum,(which is a discussion board forum). And just allow you to collaborate on a project without everyone having their own copy on their local drive. It's browser based but most of the time doesn't have anything to do with web content, ie site management. It's more for general project management.

DW allows you to leave notes on the server for all people onthe project to access... but you still have to have the site on your computer to edit, etc. Since I am a one-person web department, I don't have practical experience with coolaboration such as you are referring to. Maybe someone else in this forum will have yoru answer. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
