Anyone knows? Is it possible to - on a Windows 2003 server installed as a print server - make 2 exact same type of printers look as one logically? The reason to ask is that we have this printing room, and one print queue for each printer. And when someone bigg a.....le prints great jobs at 100 pages, the next user is waiting for his job to print. Could it be possible to let Windows 2003 check which of the exact same printers are available and send the print job to the least busy printer? If You know what I mean?

On the ports tab of the printer properties you can tick the "Enable printer pooling" tickbox to allow you to select multiple ports for each printer. Then. if the first printer is busy it will roll over onto the next printer.

Hope this helps,
Alex
