is parental control possible in Internet Explorer

Hi, I would like to know if parental control is possible with Internet Explorer such as blocking website of pornographic and other harmfull contents to children.
I tryed to use a program that when set to check website for harmfull content for children, it even blocks many websites that are normal. If you can suggest also a good application that can effectively differentiate harmfull contents to children and other normal websites
I appreciate your assistance
