Lately there have been a lot of discussions about Modular Messaging posting on the Definity and Octel forums. Obviously Modular Messaging is here to stay and growing in popularity.

As a new administrator to MM I think it would be beneficial to start up a new forum exclusive to MM, Caller Applications, and for those newbies replacing their legacy VM platform to MM.

Seems to me this would be better than searching the entire Tek-Tips for Modular Messaging posts.

Ditto. Avaya announced end of sale on Octel for May of 2006 and I've been installing more and more of these systems. I also believe Avaya plans to phase out the Intuity Audix (Map/5, Map/40, Map/100) and will only offer Modular Messaging and Intuity Audix LX for messaging platforms.

Statements expressed in this post are my own opinions and should not be considered as the opinion of my employer.

I agree as well. I end up searching several forums to find MM posts, and am never quite sure which forum to post in.
