I've got 77 MB worth of directories named "$NtUninstall...$" in my Windows directory. Why are they there (are those savefiles from windowsupdate?), and can i get rid of them?

thanks.

They are from Windows Update and safe to remove. You will lose the ability to use Control Panel, Add/remove Programs, to selectively remote these Hotfixes. I just delete them.

Even if you do not care about the Hotfix issue, use linney's links to visit Doug Knox's site. A true gem on the internet for XP users.
