I've seen posted on other forums where users have installed Ms-sql with sp3 on the server. I haven't gotten any replies on those forums.

The disk I have is with Sp2. Has anyone tried to install MS-SQL 2000 on Windows 2003 server?

What Version are you trying to install on?... I know it installs on enterprise, but not web edition.

I'm using the Enterprise edition. I get the popup that SQL2000 SP2 will not install on this version of Windows and I can only click OK.

Very few people should be seeing Web Edition. As I understand it this version is typically sold to major OEMs of "web appliance" machines and is hard to come by otherwise.

That's my question. How do you install it if the CD you have is SP2?

Just install it with SP2 and then apply the SP3 update. It will still run with only SP2 applied.
