I have several remote sites that are connected to our database via Frame Relay...they also have local Internet access.
I used the solution found in this article to connect the PC's to both networks.

Now I have a SOnicwall at 3 of these locations and I want to establish a VPN between the main location and the remote sites. It is possible to access the database via the VPN (I have 1 site using this exclusively) but I would like to see if it is possible to use a 2nd Persistent Route as a way to connect to the database in case the Frame Connection fails.

A little background...
We started out on the Frame Relay using dumb terminals, thats why the Frame is still in use today(5 year contract on those circuits). I realize we could drop the Frame and go to VPN only and we probably will do that at some point in the future.
