Is it possible to be on a call with one party, have another party call in on your other line (and you display their number to validate it's the party you're expecting), and then be able to link the parties together on a conference call?

I pretty sure the answer is "No", but I thought I'd run by this group.

Thanks for any ideas.

with ao03 or ao6 you can conference those parties on key 0

actually either line, pending on what key you do what with

INCOMING CONFERENCE
You can make it work on incoming calls, but you need two lines on the phone.
With the caller on line 2 on hold and an active call on line 1
Press the conference key
Press the line 2 key
Press the conference key again
You now have a conference call on line 1

But someone on the conference has to originate the call as far as I know.

If you're already on a conference call and someone calls in on your second line, there's no way to bring that second line call into the conference, is there?

My friend I tried on my 3904 on an OPc81 and I could do the conference by with one party on the line then press conference key and the other incoming line then press the previous line and then conference again and all get connected. At this moment I don't know if there is a parameter that need to be configured other than AO6 on the TN of the phone but I will try to check this.

Nothing needs set, if you are conferenced, whether they call you or you call them you can conf 3 or 6 if you have ao3 or ao6. It is just a matter of doing it correctly.
