I am running eseutil to defrag the 30gb priv.edb The server is not too sloppy 600mhz pIII, fast SCSI disks, plenty of RAM etc.
the command used was eseutil /d /ispriv -th:\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv.edb
The h: drive is an empty 50gb volume set.
The status bar got to 100% some two hours ago and the routine has taken about 7 hours so far. Any ideas on how long should this take to run ?

Assuming you have disk activity, I'd leave it 12 hours before assuming the worst - these things take time!

The run finished after some 17 hours. Obviously not a job to be squeezed into the schedule.
