Hi,

I'm having issues with my SantaCruz sound card. I just noticed that it is sharing an IRQ with my IEEE device. I don't know if this is causing the problem but how do I change this so there is no conflict?

I'm not real familiar with IRQ settings, etc.

Thanks for any help.
Eman

PS. My motherboard is about 6 months old.

Assuming you're using win98, 2000, or XP, you can change the IRQ in the device manager/properties under the "Resources Tab"...

I'm not sure how old your card is, but most hardware these days, specifically sound cards, can share IRQ's without any problems because they don't send interrupt requests at the same time.

Hope that helps.
