irq conflict - help

i have installed the ati radeon 9600 se card and there is a conflict with the usb port. they want to use the same irq. the card works but knocks out the usb port. i am using windows 2000 and it will not allow me to change the irq setting. the change settings button is greyed out.
is there anything i can do aside from not using that card?

It's hard to say since the make/model of the computer or motherboard is not known. Are you replacing a card or the onboard video adapter?
