When I remotely access a CICS using the IRAD it keeps the line tied up and will not release it. I have supervision turned on and it is release 7.0 . What am I missing to solve this?
I had this problem with a customer. He telco did not provide disconnect supervision, but yet we turn it on in the phone system. We turned off disconnect supervision on the CICS, and everything worked fine. As far as anything else like pager notification, cell phone forwarding, etc. did not work after we did this change.
It's a good idea to terminate connection from the NRU interface at the end of session. If you're not doing that, give it a try. I bet you won't have many, if any, hangs. Good luck.
