IPX over DDR (Cisco 1700)

having a bit of trouble setting up IPX on DDR.
The system consists of two sites which need occasional connections for maintenance purposes. The IP side was quite easy to configure, however when a connection is made I cannot map drives to remote Novell servers or administer Print servers until I turn on RIP routing on the Cisco's which does not allow the link to drop.

If anyone can help in this area I have config details/schematics and debug screen outputs.....

Sure, your sap is not being broadcast and
neither side of the link knows about each others services.
