Hello all,

I have a NW 4.11 server running NWIP and FTP services in Wyoming. Until today, this server was also the main file server for that facility. To decrease risk, we decided to install a second NW 4.11 server for file storage and leave the original file server in place to function as the NWIP/FTP gateway. Both servers are on the same subnet.

Now that we moved the files to the new server and reconfigured all the workstation clients, we ran into a problem: our external clients cannot access the new file server through our NWIP or FTP gateway server. Does anyone know how to configure the gateway server running NWIP and FTP services so external clients can access shares on the new NW server we just installed? The new server does not have any unicon services running. Thanks.

I've never quite understood NWIP completely, but I believe that you need to have NWIP configured on each server.
