IPU HOW ICU FOR ENTERNAL RESPONDING!!!

Hi,i'm have a IPU board and I must to configure how icu for enternal responding????somebody help me???My release is BC9

The IPU board is used to login to the MD110 system and send MML commnands. The ICU board can be used to make a data link to an external voice mail system. You must clarify what this issue deals with...

I think I got your question now. You need ICU board to use on customer site. But you do not have any and can not be provided, cause it has been phased out. You are asking if you can use any of IPU ports as ICU like you do to NIU. The answer is: "NO". Second thing IPU board and ICU board is physically the same boards. If you have a spare IPU you can modify it to be an ICU.

No command, no parameter. You have to change the eproms on IPU. If you change it will be no more IPU. You can not use the card as IPU and ICU at the same time.

The earlier I/O board for MML commands was named IOU. Simultaneously to IOU we had the ICU for intercept.
The IOU and ICU was the same HW exept for the EPROM.

Then a newer I/O board for MML commands was presented named IPU. Simultaneously to IPU we had the ICU2 for intercept.
The IPU and ICU2 was the same HW exept for the EPROM.

Make shure that you don't mix these...

I guess that you run a couple of analog lines into the TEMA40 system, and you want to have a hunt group with these analog lines. DIR=6800 and GRP=6820.

1. Analog extensions:
