Hi,
I use a W2K Adv Server to NAT my Cable modem through RRAS. I have heard of folks using Linksys and other hardware routers to pass IPSec traffic through NAT in order to use VPN clients inside the network - is there any way to do this with W2K RRAS???
I am trying to use the Nortel VPN client, which, as far as I can tell, uses IPSec over UDP/TCP port 500...I put in forwarding rules for these ports with no results.
If I can't use passthrough, is there any way to keep the network up after activating the VPN on the server? Whenever I connect, it kills the LAN connection, can I manually add a routing table after the VPN session is started?
Help is appreciated,
Tatum
