IProblem with a 7316 not ringing on intercom calls.

I have a T71316E phone that wont physically ring on a MICS 4.1. THe intercom will flash but not physically ring. Transfered calls will ring. The phone can call out but unless people look at the phone at the time they dont hear a ring on intercom calls. Replaced the phone will a 7324 and it rings (no program changes). Here is the catch all of the 7316E are doing this problem and all of the 7324 work fine. You can do a feature *80 and adjust the ring volume. But on intercom calls the problem is still there.

Might be worth it to upgrade to 6.1 software. Kinda of a

pain but i have seen funny interaction with new/old

Software and phones. I upgraded one customer from a old

8x24 DS to a new 6.1 0x32 Mics with Call Pilot 150 and

started having some of the older M series phone flake

right out. Replaced the phones with newer t-series and

promblem solved.

7316E designed for latest 6.1 S/W version. You might have some flaky issues with the older S/W versions.
