IPoffice 412 ver5 and VMPro 2

Hi there
can i run an IP office 412 on ver 5.0.20 with a voice mail pro server without licence ??
on the system status it shows that i have 4 VM Channels, but the system doesn t have any dongle serial number.
it seems working but sometimes it gives me fast busy tone and i have to restart the VM Pro services to get it work again.

You need a licence to run it, you might have a red USB dongle sitting on a server somewhere in the network. Look for a server that is running the "feature key server" on the bottom right near the clock.

this is a test environment i don t have any red usb keys anywhere I'm just trying to see if it's gonna work, i thought ipo 412 V5 does not need licenses.

it will work for 2 hours then you will have to restart it.

Yep if you don't have a dongle anywhere then it will stop after 2 hours like gknight says. Other op tions is to run VMlite (free) but then you need to downgrade to 4.2. But you will be VERY limited in you vm options.
