Power has failed!

I read in some places that ipo500 may have lost your OS.

could help me solve this?
sorry for my poor english.

Thanks

Try to recreate the SD card.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Have recreated sdcard but without formatting, and it did not work.
I'll try to format the sdcard and rebuild again right now.

tks

good afternoon.

I tried the procedure to format and rebuild the sdcard, but still the error occurs:

I am onsite at the client and do not know what else to do.

thanks!

Well, put the card in a card reader and locate the file ip500v2.bin on your PC harddrive, copy it to the SD card directory
\system\primary put the card in the ipo and try again.

@intrigrant

performed the procedure you asked, below is the information from hyper terminal:

not yet worked ....

any other ideas?

thanks!

The card seems to be buggered, try a new one, if it works ...cool (the swap licences I required) if not then may be the chassis I have had to replace a chassis due to a similar fault before :)

okay. I'll try a new sdcard. Back soon with the results.
thanks everybody!

It does a BootP request so if your Avaya Manager has BootP enabled AND the working directory for the BIN files is correct AND the unit is registered in the BootP area of the IP Office Manager then it would pick up the file from your PC and boot up.
If it then still fails you'll have a bad unit, if it starts then you have a bad SD card.

Indeed, good point Intrigrant, I believe that's how I pinpointed a dodgy chassis in my example :)

Good morning guys

Problem solved.

Just replace the files and ipo500.bin ipo500v2.bin after this change the IPO worked.

thanks for all.

Hmmmm, when you formatted and recreated that happened anyway, or were you fibbing ? :)

even reformatting and recreating gave error. But I got the files. bin from another laptop, it can be!
