I have an IPO V2 that I took from R6.1 to R9.0.1(845). The upgrade seemed to take but the licenses aren't available to the sets. I also have 2 vmail ports and power, office and mobile users say they don't see the Preferred license, but that license shows as valid.

Anyone have an opinion here?

I have the essential R9 license, IPO LIC PREFRD (VM PRO) RFA LIC:DS, I was told that would allow the upgrade. I had vmPro in the existing system.

You have been sold the totally wrong licence, you needed the R9 upgrade licence not Preferred, Preferred is just VM Pro by another name, so now you have 2 copies of that licence and a system you can't upgrade, you don't strictly need the essential licence either as that would be created during the upgrade :)

Thank you for the insight sir. I have backed the system up with old SD card R6.1 and am testing now. I will have to go back to supplier and get this rectified. Appreciate your help. Stay warm. I'm in Canada.
