After some experiments with VPN’s i got my ISP to change my ADSL configuration which was in static IP, to PPPoE, with user and password, the stuff worked a little days, but now I have to remove the VPN box, and let the IPO to serve as WAN to LAN router.
And I got no way to select PPPoE, user and password in the WAN settings.
Is that impossible? Is there some tek-tip to make it work?

The WAN settings you are looking at in Manager refer to the Serial port on the back of the kit. I think this is more like an X.21 type setup. Never actually used it (apart from on my course 4 years ago!).

I think to use any type of ADSL there has to be a separate router involed. Thins could be put on LAN2 of the SOE and route between the 2 physical IPO LANs

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

The IPO does not support PPPoE, you need to have a static connection presented on Ethernet connected to WAN2 if you did want to use it, however the router is very basic, to be honest any Netgear box will out perform the inbuilt router !
