IPO do it all button 2

Hello

New 500v2 install.. I believe I know the answer but I would like to be positive.

Users are looking for a button so they can....
1.Auto Dial another user
2.monitor another user when they are on their set ( BLF )
3.and answer another users phone when needed

The User key will give me 1 & 2

I guess their old Comm dial system allowed this with one button.

Maybe a bridged appearance of that extension

User buttons will do it, if the user is ringing then
1400, 1600, 9500 and 9600 Series phones the following additional options are displayed:

· Drop
Disconnect the user's current call.
If configured to be able to intrude on the user:
· Acquire
Take control of the call.
· Intrude
Intrude into the call, turning it into a 3-way conference.
If configured to be able to listen to the user:
· Listen
Start silent monitoring of the user's call.

So that way you can pick up a call that rings on the users phone.

I tried to answer the call but was unsuccesful with the User button
running 9.0
(maybe its a bug ?)



It's only dialtone!!!

I tested it before I sent out the reply.
The phone has to ring to do it.

I just tested in my lab and yes I hit the user button and then the call pickup
