Hello,

We have an IPO 500 version 4.1.12(01) and ip phones version 2.8.3. All works fine but the phones ramdonly reboot (we ha'nt any message on the ip phone like "discovering" or "no ethernet")
We have tested with poe-switch and with midspan, same issue.

Thank you for your help.

What switch did you use, how many phones are on the switch and how many port does you switch have?

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

To expand on the above: And what is the power rating for the switch?? It may be that the switch cannot sustain power to loads of phones. Can you split them up a bit and spread out the phones across a few switches or put another switch in as a temp measure to run some phones.

Reduce the load on each switch basically

I first use a 4510 (Cisco) and I check that I have enough power (My phones were well know as Class2 by the Cisco). As I explain I have also tested with a mispan (power injector) and an Enterasys switch (no poe) and I get the same issue.
We're upgrading the IPO to 4.1.15 I let you know.

We found a workaround: downgrade the ip-phones firmware to version:2.3.
It looks fine now, no more random reboots
