IPO 406 v6.0 VMPro Dial by name missing name and busy

Iv'e got an odd problem here. I have a remote site with DID's that has users setup locally with ext. that just forward to their DID's, the odd thing is I've had them working and then all of the sudden they started getting busy signals instead of ringing the DID. I logged in and checked the settings, added forward hunt calls to 3 out of 4 and it was working again. Now all of a sudden it's doing the same thing, except only when using dial by name, enter their name, it says their ext. number (haven't had them record their names yet) I press one, there is some silence and then fast busy, but if I just dial their ext it forwards and rings.

Also one of the names is missing from the directory, it is programmed in the system and appears on the VMPro, but when I dial Abbott, 222688, I get a name not found message?

Anybody know what's going on here?

pretty sure you need to record the amilbox names before they will work in the dial by name directory

I wish it was that simple, but no, they were working twice before, I tested after initially programming and they worked, then for no apparent reason they stopped! Then I logged in to check why it might not be working, noticed not all of them had forward hunt group calls checked, although all were not working equally, checked it on all, tested them and again they worked.

Now it's only dial by name that gets busy, even though the system recognizes the name, states the correct ext. number, you press 1 to confirm that is the ext. you want (it is) and silence, then fast busy. Aside from the one that says name not found even though it is programmed in...
 
I take it back, all dial by name is not working, dial a name, plays users recorded name (if they have setup and recorded it in the VMPro), or the system says the ext. number of the person, asks you to dial 1 to confirm that is who you are trying to reach, you dial 1 and get back silence for 5-10 seconds, then fast busy...
 
Ok, I changed from last name to first name and that resolved the missing person (Abbott), doesn't explain why it wasn't working via last name, and doesn't change the fact that it doesn't actually call these people, locally or remote.
 
I'm going to start a new thread since the missing name is resolved and the first post leads people to believe this is a forwarding to remote site issue, not just a dial by name issue.
