Hello all,
I've bought an iplDK-60 PABX in Brazil and a LDP-7224D in US. From Brazilian manuals I saw that the phone model LDP-6230D is used to setup and configure the PABX.
When I try to connect the phone model LDP-7224D in the PABX, the lights are on, but I can't receive a tone signal in the phone.
Anyone has tried to connect an iplDK-60 with 6230 and/or 7224 phone models?
Maybe I should upgrade the firmware from iplDK-60 or try to upgrade the phone, but I’m not sure.
If someone could give me some help I’ll really appreciate.
Thanks in advance,
Balba

ipLDK-60 used to come with the LDP-6212D and LDP-6230D keyset phones with the earlier versions of that system.
Now new s/w has been released, enabling the LDP-7224D phones.
Can you by [Trans/pgm] + 72 see the s/w level and let me know it?

Thanks Doktor,

I think that is exactly the reason, I’m quite sure that the iplDK-60 sold in Brazil still using the old version that explains why I can’t find LDP-72 series in the local market, only the LDP-62 is available here.

Is that possible to me upgrade my PABX to the new firmware? If yes, I believe that my problem will be solved and I can finally use the PABX with new phones (LPD-72).

Can you help me with instructions and the correct file for the firmware?

Just to you know when I connect the LDP-7224 in the PABX the display shows the messages bellow:
LDP-7224D v1.0 US
SCOUT-DX v1.1 OK SYNC

Thanks a lot again.

Hi Balba

I always use this link to check s/w updates and user guides:

We had the same issue with ipLDK-100 when running s/w 2.2 and the LDP-7024 phones arrived on the marked.
We needed to upgrade from s/w 2.2 to 3.0 (at this moment 3.9).
Your ipLDK-60 was released with the LDP-62xx phones and the s/w level is now 3.8, so I guess your s/w level too low.
Can you connect a LDP-62xx phone and by [Trans/pgm] + 72 see the s/w level and let me know it?
Or if possible get the LDK PC ADMIN from the site mentioned and connect and check the s/w - BEFORE upgrading anything.
(It could be a defective port in your ipLDK-60).

Try to connect your LDP-7024 to the other ports.

This display message (below) can show that the wrong port is chosen
(analogue port - or defective digital port) or wrong s/w level.

LDP-7224D v1.0 US
SCOUT-DX v1.1 OK SYNC

Can you try - also - to check your LDP-7224 with andother ipLDK-60?

Hi Doktor,

I'll follow your instructions and let you know what happens. Probably on next tuesday night an expert in telephony will check the version and install the upgrade (if necessary).

Thanks a lot,

Balba

Hello, I'm also having an issue using a LDP-7224D phone on my older IPLDK-60 PBX; I've downloaded the latest firmware I can find (GS88P-38Hc_20110421) but it still does not work. The phone reads LDP-7224D v1.0 USSCOUT-DX v1.1 OK SYNC and just stays there. Any help will be greately appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for the information. So are you saying the system cannot be upgraded to support this terminal????

Had you a well workin system ( ipLDK - 60) before you made the upgrade?
Did All your LDP-6212 / 6230 phones work before before the upgrade?
Someone had the same problem, but never got it to work.
When we sold the LDK-24 first the ver. 1. (hardware) was used, and later came version 3.
The new phones for version 3: LDP-7024 could not operate work with LDK-24 ver.1, so you had to swap the whole PBX (ksu) to operate the new phones. I think that you were lucky to be able to upgrade, but I do not think that you will get the new phones to work.
Please post the s/ w level before and after the upgrade.

Do any af the 62xx phones work with the new phones?

Sorry for the delay.

Yes! I had you a well workin system ( ipLDK - 60) before you made the upgrade?

Yes, all your LDP-6212 / 6230 phones work before before the upgrade!

Version before the upgrade was 3.7Ce and I upgraded to 3.8Fc and 3.8Hc and neither works with the new phones.....the old phones work fine on the upgraded unit.

So my next question is, where can I find some of the old phones to purchase????

The system works on the new version so there is no need to roll back. But to answer your question, yes, I can roll back and it still works. Will keep an eye out on ebay for phones but they seem very scarse!

So you hereby can confirm that LDP-6212 and LDP-6230 can work with the ipLDK-60 software of 3.7Ce, 3.8Fc and 3.8Hc ?
But LDP-7224D cannot be used at 3.7Ce, 3.8Fc and 3.8Hc.
Just for our reference.
