IPECS LIP-8024D Voip Phone Blank Display on Power up

Hi Everyone,

I have an LG LIP-8024D Voip Phone which was working OK. It was disconnected from the network (RJ45 with POE). After reconnecting, the display lights up but the phone does nothing else.

It is connected to an MFIM50A.

Hi,
read this thread, sounds like the same problem:

You can prevent of this failure when you update these phones with the
latest boot and application image (LIP96PBoot10E.rom/GS96P12Af.rom).

Hi,

Thanks for your help xs650. I can't check the phone at the moment as the phone company has removed it.

I am sure the link you mentioned is correct, as it looks as if something is stopping the phone hardware initialising correctly.

I wish I had posted this a day or two earlier and I could have fixed it myself.
