IP412 Voicemail NO TOUCH TONES

Hello Again

We are having an issue of some phones not being able to dial touch tones only on voicemail calls

EXAMPLE:
User 298
- dialing into voicemail, system answers with users mailbox. user tries to listen to messages option 1 nothing happens menu keeps playing.....now it is spreading to other user phones the same issue.

Are the phones off an expansion module by any chance? i.e Dig 30/16 as if they were not stepped throught the 3.2.999 loader this will happen more and more often until you do!!

I did a power cycle and it fixed the issue

is this a know "BUG"

that is simply and unsatisfactory way to correct the DTMF

i know its not anyones fault here just voicing my opinion.

You say DS30 with 3.1 that means they are on 1.1 ???
Then yes it could be a bug

This a very old version witch was a bit buggy
Or is it 3.1 on the system ?

Then still upgrade the thing

And then still is it a DS30v1 or a DS30v2 ?

when you post you can save yourself and all the people that reply a lot of time if you post the release you are working with in the initial post. Releases are VERY important with IPO, some have bugs that others don't have and some bugs come back after a version that actually worked fine. So even if I sound like I am an !d!ot to you right now "posting the release you have the question for" will make you life easier and the answers better and quicker that will also help you getting rid of the problems you encounter.

FYI - I had this exact same issue immediately after upgrade from 3.2 to 4.1 - did all of the "right" upgrade steps. Hard power cycle fixed trouble and it never returned.

had the same thing on a 500. i didnt do the original upgrade to 4.1 but took it back through 3.2.999999 and threw in a hard reboot.

no problems since
