Does anyone know if AVAYA IP Softphone licenses are for concurrent sessions?

I was informed that they are. If I bought 10 licenses and have 20 users any 10 could be in use at any time.

Yes I agree. Remember that is for 10 users running the softphone software at any one time, not 10 users on active calls.

In Avaya-ese they're calling it "registrations" and what it seems to mean is logged in softphones, not how many you've installed or how many are on calls. As Ronster said. It's in display system-parameter customer-settings and you'll see it on the first page in the "used" column.
