We have an S8710 with CM 2.x and are using IP softphone with a Plantronics USB DSP headset. Our employee is working from home. When she makes an internal call - she can hear the person speaking but no one can here her. If she calls that same person by dialing their complete phone # - making an external call, she can be heard just fine.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Are you using IP phones internally? You can try to turn off shuffling on the station. I had the same problem when talking softphone to softphone. I turned off shuffing on the station form and it worked.

We use a few IP phone internally, but not at the ocation that our home worker would be logging in to.

I think we discovered that our Medpro and CLAN boards are set to auto negotiate instead of being hard coded as 10/100 full. I checked my Cisco switch ports and they are also set at 10/100 full. I am going to try changing the medpro and CLAN boards tonight to see if that makes a difference.
Thanks
