IP Route inside 1812 Router

Dear all,

I inherited a 1812 router where this route is defined:

ip route 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.255 FastEthernet0 5.6.7.8 name X

But the ip address of FastEthernet0 is defined as 5.6.7.9

How do I have to interpret this configuration?

What that is saying is to go out fa0 and the next hop is 5.6.7.9.

By the way there is also a line in the config file:

resource policy

And the meaning is??????
