IP Phone registration on S8300 w/G700

I'm not having any luck getting my IP phones to register with the S8300 media server. This is not an LSP. I've verified that my IP addresses are all pingable including the VoIP module. My region amd mapping are correct. The phone discover's the system but cannot register. Usually this means that the voip resources are not available. FYI, my 1st S8300 with IP phones.

i had this too and i did not give thes8300/g700 the 5 static ip adresses that it needs

afterreinstalling communication manager it worked

but it couldalso be a license problem
did you install the license files ?
if yes do you have a license for ip end points ?

Yes the licenses are good. I have 2 routes installed. Would you have example of the 5 routes or point me to the correct docs?

What IP phones are you using? Is it 46xx? Are you using DHCP?
If so, did you set up option 176 in your DHCP scope? If you are using a voice vlan and a data vlan, you have to do your vlan seperation on the ip-network-map or in option 176.

Here are the addresses you need to have configured.
8300
p330 stack controller
mgp
voip engine
IA770 if you are using the internal VM

The MGC list must contain the 8300 address

both the gateway in the p330 and the MGP must be configured
the mgp gateway should look like this
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.80.1 (substitute with your gateway)

it sounds like your problem is with the DHCP server to me, but I need to know more details.
