Anyone worked with them? How do they stack up for price, features, networking capability vs Definity?

IP Office and Definity should not be mentioned in the same sentence, right now IP Office systems are very buggy and are nightmares to work with sometimes..

Check out group.yahoo.com and then look for the IP Office group..

5 Years ago you wouldn't have been able to pull me away from a Definity/Multivantage system. To this day I still think that it is the most stable system going. I've been certified on many different systems for years now & I must say that I am a die hard definity geek. However, We have installed some 40 + IP Offices lately and I must say that as the firmware evolves (1.3.37 and higher) the system becomes more stable. The IP Office definitely has its place and there are certain features it has that I wish the Multivange Platform had. I think it could be the bridge that Avaya has needed in the small to medium business market that they have so desperatly missed the mark on recently.

My specific problem is that I have a building with about 55 users and 2 hunt groups with about 5 members in each. They currently have a System75 with ACD, and TN750's. The IPoffice is coming in a lot cheaper than a Prologix/Intuity but I'm fearful the ACD part may be too different or not sufficient for their needs when migrating from a Sys75/Definity.

Have you looked into a G700 (probably not cheaper) or a G600 remoted to an S8700 (providing you have one). You'd lose the traditional EPN hardware and circuit packs, but could keep the stations. The total cost of ownership might work out considering a single system (S8700), single set of RTU, single point of admin, etc.

No, there's no 8700 in use by this customer. They also want all new sets since they're using 7400's today.
