We had a V2 that was converted to an expansion cabinet. There were groups on it. When I open the config up I can see the groups and make changes to them but I can't delete them. Tried different things for a few days, no luck. Thanks for your help in advance.

Are you edit groups at the top of the primary server's navigation tree or under the config settings of the expansion system.

In standard Server Edition mode there are no groups in any systems other than the primary. However those groups are shared (broadcast) to all the systems in the network.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yes I am. That's where I right mouse click and delete is greyed out. Under solution, it shows 36 groups. under the primary it shows 9 groups. and there are no groups in the expansion. I can make changes, I can't delete them.

I would default the lot and start all over again.
The groups should always be programmed on the server.
You could try to only default the IP500v2 by removing it from the server with Manager.
Then make it default on the IP500v2 and set the IP address on it.
Then use Manager to add it again.
I think this could solve your problem although it needs some reboots of the server and reprogramming the groups etc again.
Always connect a default 500 to it.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes I thought of that and want to avoid it. The documentation claims this should work. Looks like a bug to me but who knows. I'll contact Avaya. Thanks for the suggestions.
