I'm wondering if anyone has gotten to test the M7000 series Norstar phones on IPO 7.0? I'm very interested in knowing if all versions of each model work well, seeing that only certain versions of each model worked properly on the BCM.

I tested all versions listed on the Avaya list, they all worked very well including the button modules, only the 7324 had a slight button mapping issue, they actually work better than on the Nortel according to my colleague due to the in call menu on the screens etc :)

@amriddle01

Thanks for the feedback. On the M7208, M7310 and M7324, any idea what Release the phones were that you test? On BCM, for the M7208 & M7310, phones Release 16 and higher are supported. On the M7324, Release 5 or higher are supported. Avaya says this won't be an issue on IPO, but.....

I have no idea, I just grabbed them off the shelf, not being Nortel trained I wouldn't know how to find out either :)

I used an old release 13 M7310. Worked fine. The old phones were supported on BCM but you couldnt retain the users volume settings from one call to another on pre release 15 7310 phones.

They seem to work OK from what I can tell.

You'll get a MWI indication next to your voicemail login button. No voicemail login button on the phone, no MWI.

I see, makes sense perhaps I should have tested that but saying that the user guides are yet to be seen except the QRG's :)

I came across it purely by accident. We'll see what the docs say when they come out.
