IP Office 8.1 BASIC with TCM 8 and Trunk 4

Hi, I have a customer with an IP Office 8.1 BASIC with 2 TCM 8/Trunk 4 modules in it and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do:

1. External Call Forwarding to a cell phone.
2. A simple transfer. FEATURE 70 does not work, and the only programmable button option is VMS TRANSFER which sends the call directly to voice mail.

Do I really need to buy an Essential Edition license to get these two basic features?

1) most of the experienced IPO techies in this forum (myself included) will not touch Muppet Mode(tm) with a barge pole so the advise we can give is going to be limited.

2) is inhibit off switch transfers enabled in system/telephony

3) assuming analog trunks have you enabled trunk to trunk connect in the analog options tab

4) do you have a reliable disconnect clear from you line provider (it wont stop you performing t-t transfers but will cause a whole load of pain if not enabled)

if the above does not make ans sense then it may because Muppet Mode(tm) is administered differently & I cant help further
